We’re a specialist engineering contractor, with a reputation for designing and delivering some of London’s most complex and innovative engineering projects. We provide a value-based integrated approach, focusing on quality and innovation in the delivery of major demolition, piling, civil engineering and bespoke reinforced concrete sub and superstructure solutions.

The Role

Based at our Head Office in Southbank, next to Blackfriars Bridge, this role is central to the smooth running of our office environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues – creating a professional, friendly, and positive experience from the moment people walk through the door. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in being organised and proactive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception & Switchboard
    • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the correct person or team.
    • Manage the switchboard in a polite and professional manner.
    • Welcome visitors and clients, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
    • Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and organised.
  • Meeting Rooms & Office Support
    • Book and set up meeting rooms (refreshments, basic AV set‑up, room layout).
    • Prepare spaces for meetings and tidy up afterwards.
  • Onboarding Support
    • Support new starters with basic set‑up (e.g., showing them around, preparing desks).
    • Gather HR documents and assist the HR team with coordinating onboarding & HR paperwork for any new starters.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Handle post, deliveries, and couriers.
    • Help with filing, scanning, and basic data entry.
    • Order and restock office supplies when needed.
    • Support the team with general admin tasks.
  • Team Support
    • Help out across different departments when needed.
    • Assist with simple tasks to keep the office running efficiently.

This role would be Monday to Friday in our Head Office – SE1 9PG. Office Hours are 8am to 5pm.
