We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our team in a full‑time capacity. Based in our Barnard Castle office, this on‑site role involves supporting the smooth running of the legal team by managing clerical duties, scheduling, and assisting with legal documentation. Daily tasks include the preparation of legal documents, maintenance of court and client calendars, and providing administrative support to legal professionals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge or experience in Law and Legal Assistants’ responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Clerical Skills, including document management and filing.
  • Experience in Diary Management and scheduling appointments efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and familiarity with legal software is a plus.
  • Adaptability to a fast‑paced legal environment and a professional attitude.
