Overview
Auxo are recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a university build project in Exeter, starting Monday 19th January 2026.
Responsibilities
- This is a hands‐on role, combining leading a team of operatives with working alongside them on site.
- The role will involve overseeing excavation works and checking levels while organising the team, installing formwork for the ground bearing slab and tower crane foundations, assisting the carpenter team with installation of brackets for facade precast elements, and reporting to the site supervisor to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety rules, as per the RAMS.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card, have full PPE, and be able to provide a recent, relevant construction reference.
- Previous experience leading a team on commercial or large‐scale projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge of H&S procedures, RAMS, and site standards is required.
Pay
The rate of pay is £23 per hour, plus a £110 daily allowance.
