We are currently recruiting for an AC Fitter\'s Mate to join a major project in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure 8-10 months of full-time work, with overtime available and the potential for ongoing work with a large, reputable client.
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, is eager to learn, and works well as part of a team. You\'ll be supporting experienced AC Fitters on site and will be joining a supportive and professional team where good teamwork is valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting AC Fitters with the installation of Air Conditioning systems
- Helping to prepare and install pipework, ductwork, and condenser units
- Handling materials and ensuring work areas are kept organised and safe
- Supporting with testing and commissioning under supervision
- Following all health & safety protocols and site procedures
- Liaising with site supervisors and other trades where required
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Some prior experience working on HVAC / AC installation sites required
- Valid CSCS Card
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced Fitters
- Ability to work between Monday to Saturday
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Two strong previous work references available to contact
- Eligibility to work in the UK
