Location: Berkshire – Head office in Maidenhead. You will need to be within commutable distance of the office. Salary: £45k-£50k basic + structured bonus (OTE £50k-£65k uncapped). Car allowance & benefits.
Hi, I’m George, Group CEO. Our business is growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious, results-focused Business Development Manager who can take an outstanding proposition to our customers and make an impact. Your role will be to support the growth of the M&Ms team (Manufacturers – OEM Warranty & Service provision, and Multiples – key/group accounts). You will be responsible for winning new business to support our growth, developing current relationships to increase revenue, and maintaining key relationships. You will manage key customers in detail and use your contacts to open doors, working with the team to set the standard in our industry for professional sales, aftercare, and service.
You will have responsibility for sales across the UK and will be expected to know and develop key prospects. You will be involved in key account deals, owning most with Directors’ support as needed, promotional activity, conferences, exhibitions, supplier events and networking. There are opportunities for great earning potential and national/international development.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining personal lead generation calls to achieve appointment targets and sales opportunities.
- Developing new business including management and submission of tenders.
- Liaising with field-based operational colleagues to gain awareness of new opportunities and develop ongoing business.
- Account management of existing key accounts.
- Taking part in networking opportunities.
- Manage and complete sales reports on a weekly basis providing commentary and forecast information.
- Achieve pre-agreed retention rates of contracts via annual targets managed monthly.
- Maintaining accurate customer records.
- Reporting on performance weekly and monthly and updating CRM with detail.
You Will Need
- Proven sales track record in the B2B environment.
- Sales delivery offering a service-led proposition.
- Experience within Retail, Hospitality or FM would be an advantage.
- To produce a personal sales activity plan designed to achieve sales targets.
- To develop sales opportunities from a range of sources including cold calling and partnerships with 3rd parties.
- The ability to build strong, sustainable relationships and influence others.
- A high level of tenacity, drive and motivation to deliver impressive results.
