You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team of technical trainers, assessors, and operational experts, all passionate about delivering high‑quality, hands‑on training that meets both industry standards and the needs of our valued clients.
What is the role?
As our Training Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Technical Training Academy in Reading, as well as supporting the wider MCFT team. This is a varied and hands‑on position that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating qualification certification requirements for our nationwide field team, ensuring courses are booked promptly and all qualifications remain up to date.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases to the highest standard, supporting compliance and reporting requirements.
- Arranging logistics for apprentices and staff, including accommodation, flights, and other travel needs.
- Managing our in‑house Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up to date and supporting staff access and reporting.
- Uploading training schedules onto our online system Phoenix and keeping them up to date for apprentices and staff.
- Support the induction and onboarding of new staff and apprentices, including the apprenticeship compliance documentation for new starters.
- Liaising with manufacturers to coordinate technical training for our existing workforce.
- Supporting the day‑to‑day running of academy resources and facilities, including liaising with external suppliers (e.g., cleaners, maintenance) and ordering supplies as required.
- Supporting procurement processes in line with MCFT policy, raising POs and filing invoices.
