Location: Maidenhead (Office Based), Full time, Permanent.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the sales department, your main responsibility will be to drive new business by booking meetings for field-based Business Development Managers (BDM), with a heavy focus on London and the Southeast. Your day-to-day will include:
- Cold calling and prospecting new potential clients through LinkedIn and other platforms
- Setting up appointments for our BDM to meet with potential customers
- Tracking week-on-week progress to hit your meeting targets
- Supporting tender opportunities and learning to compile documentation and presentations
- Assisting in generating quotations, keeping our CRM database up to date and accurate, acting as the first point of contact for regional sales queries and supporting other colleagues across MCFT.
What We’re Looking For In You
- Proven success in a similar role where booking meetings and driving new business were key
- Energetic and target driven. A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and the ambition to exceed targets
- Comfortable cold calling, presenting over the phone, and building rapport quickly
- Ability to handle objections and challenging situations
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring CRM accuracy and compliance with company procedures
- Experience working with IT programs and CRM systems is a plus
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in Telesales
- Live within commutable distance of Maidenhead
