MCFT is continuing to expand across the UK and internationally, and we are now seeking motivated, capable individuals who are ready to step into future leadership and commercial management roles. This structured programme is designed for people with early career leadership experience who want to accelerate their development and ultimately take on responsibility within an MCFT territory team or support our growing UK operations.
If you thrive on challenge, enjoy working to goals, and want a career that offers both progression and adventure, this programme could be the ideal next step.
The Programme:
Initially you will be based in the UK, gaining experience of MCFT's core business with an overall focus on Business Development. You will gain good working knowledge across operations, scheduling, finance, commercial activity, customer engagement and people leadership. Alongside this hands-on exposure, you will complete a structured MCFT Talent Accelerator Curriculum, focused on:
- Understanding how a technical service business operates
- Using data and KPIs to guide decisions
- Developing commercial awareness
- Building and leading effective teams
- Analysing markets and contributing to strategic planning
The training is entirely MCFT-focused, designed to give you the specific operational, commercial and financial knowledge required to quickly make an impact—whether within an existing territory, a new market, or as part of our ongoing UK expansion. Successful completion of the programme opens up opportunities to progress into leadership positions either overseas or within the UK, depending on business needs and your strengths.
What You'll Contribute:
From your first day, you will be expected to:
- Take ownership of meaningful projects that directly influence business performance
- Achieve business development targets, creating high converting lead generation opportunities and new business pipeline.
- Contribute ideas, insights and solutions that drive improvement
- Collaborate with managers, engineers, coordinators and commercial teams
- Demonstrate the behaviours and mindset needed to become a future MCFT leader
This is a practical, high-responsibility development route within an ambitious, growing SME—not a standard graduate or rotation scheme.
About You:
We're looking for individuals who can grow into strong future leaders, able to operate in fast-paced, people-focused environments.
You Will Ideally Have:
- Leadership & Achievement: Experience in a supervisory, team leader, shift leader or voluntary leadership role; evidenced examples of working towards goals, targets or significant achievements.
- Commercial & Customer Experience: Experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, sales or customer-facing work; bonus if you have sales, commercial or business development exposure.
- Academic or Professional Development: Either a degree or a strong record of applied learning through an apprenticeship or similar route.
- Personal Qualities: A passion for travel or previous experience working or living overseas; a love of languages, and willingness to learn new cultures; tangible experiences where you have shown yourself to be ambitious and motivated by challenge; comfortable taking responsibility and speaking up; curious, analytical and eager to learn; entrepreneurial attitude that’s open to future opportunities in the UK or overseas.
About MCFT:
With over 30 years' experience, MCFT is an award-winning provider of commercial kitchen maintenance and technical services, working with global brands and opening new markets each year. This programme places you at the heart of that growth, equipping you with the skills to make a genuine impact.
Why Choose Us?
- Clear pathway into leadership roles in the UK or internationally
- MCFT Leadership Academy and dedicated mentoring
