We’re hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Data Centre and Cloud Modernisation to help shape the future of our global technology estate. If you enjoy modernising complex environments, balancing data‑centre engineering with cloud build, and influencing the direction of a major transformation programme, this role could be a brilliant fit.
You’ll work across both legacy and greenfield environments — supporting existing data centres while helping build a brand‑new cloud platform from scratch. The organisation is in its discovery phase, so you’ll have real input into what gets modernised, what gets automated, and what moves to the cloud.
This role spans hands‑on engineering, design input, and collaboration with teams across London, Edinburgh, Dublin, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Asia and Australia.
What you’ll be doing
- Engineering, configuring and troubleshooting data‑centre infrastructure
- Contributing to cloud build, automation and Terraform‑based deployments
- Designing network and cloud solutions alongside the architecture group
- Supporting migration discovery and helping decide which workloads move
- Working across firewalls, networks, hybrid connectivity and modernisation projects
- Collaborating with global teams, consultants and vendors
What we’re looking for
- Strong data‑centre engineering experience (must have)
- Networking experience across firewalls, routers and switches (must have)
- Cloud knowledge and hands‑on cloud build capability (must have)
- Terraform coding experience (must have)
- IAM, Intune, Purview, Entra ID, Git and Power Automate experience (advantageous)
- MDM experience across Mac and Windows (advantageous)
- Someone who can balance both network and cloud work — or bring depth in one area with willingness to grow in the other
- Ability to contribute to design and work closely with the architecture group
