Full Stack Engineer (, , United Kingdom)

💼 Full Stack Developer | Edinburgh or Glasgow | Hybrid | FTC – 12-months

We’re looking for a skilled and collaborative Full Stack Engineer for a 12-month FTC to join our technology team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic financial services environment, contributing to impactful projects that support operational efficiency and excellent client service.

You\’ll join a growing team delivering high-quality software using Microsoft technologies, with the opportunity to shape and influence how we build modern, scalable solutions.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining applications using C# and the .NET Core Framework
• Working with the Microsoft MVC technology stack (experience with .NET Core 2.2 preferred)
• Writing clean, maintainable code using Visual Studio, DevOps, and Git
• Building and styling UI components using CSS, CSHTML, and JavaScript
• Querying and managing data using SQL Server
• Collaborating with internal teams to gather, refine, and deliver on technical requirements
• Supporting delivery under tight deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment

✅ We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong experience in C# and .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git for source control
• Familiarity with Microsoft MVC architecture
• Good working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and CSHTML
• Confidence in writing and optimising queries in SQL Server
• Experience working directly with business teams to shape technical requirements
• A collaborative mindset, able to work closely with developers, testers, and business users
