As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be the technical authority behind the design, build, and optimisation of Azure platforms that power critical business services. You’ll work at the intersection of cloud engineering, security, and enterprise architecture — influencing strategy, mentoring engineers, and delivering solutions that meet stringent regulatory and operational demands.

What You’ll Lead

  • Architecting secure, scalable Azure landing zones for hybrid and cloud‑native workloads
  • Embedding governance, cost optimisation, and security best practice across the cloud estate
  • Driving automation and IaC adoption with Bicep, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
  • Enhancing observability through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity, operations, and enterprise architecture teams
  • Producing high‑quality technical documentation and mentoring peers

Core Technical Expertise

  • Deep experience across Azure IaaS: compute, storage, networking
  • Strong understanding of VNETs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
  • Governance, policy, cost management, and security best practice
  • Proven track record migrating VMware workloads to Azure
  • Designing and implementing enterprise landing zones
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Hands‑on with Terraform and/or Bicep
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration in hybrid environments
  • Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights configuration and optimisation
