Our client, a leading employer within engineering and manufacturing, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Head of Finance supporting company growth.

The role:

  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts for the group
  • Prepare monthly financial information for senior management reporting
  • Influence financial decisions at key points in the month end timeline
  • Review current accounting processes and implement improvements
  • Train and mentor junior members of the finance team and help them develop their knowledge and skills
  • Monitor cashflow and optimise working capital
  • Monthly and weekly reporting duties
  • Any other ad hoc duties within the finance team

Essential Criteria:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
