Job Description:

Join our Team: Quality Manager

Location: Dungannon

Reporting to: Operations Director

Hours of Wor k: 39.75 hours per week

As a Quality Manager you will be responsible for ensuring customer quality standards are always met. The role will play an integral part in liaising with Internal and External customers to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction while achieving high quality standards in a lean environment.

What youll do

  • To develop and implement the quality management strategy in line with business standards.
  • To develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and products.
  • To develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
  • To monitor performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.
  • To establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
  • To report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards.
  • To be an integral part of creating the Total Quality Management (TQM) culture and having the ability to drive it forward.
  • To lead the Quality Councils on site.
  • To manage department performance against agreed targets through appraisal and review.
  • To liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary.

What youll bring

  • Extensive experience & knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering
  • Experience of manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of people management
  • Able to demonstrate leadership in both strategic and quality management in a global manufacturing organization
  • Ability to govern progress to a detailed level and interpret system reports and Key Performance Indicators
  • Ability to work with suppliers to improve overall levels of quality
