The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing product quality through data monitoring, customer support, and inspection coordination. This role involves working closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure product and process compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and input quality-related data for weekly trend analysis, leading to identification and escalation of recurring issues.
- Assist in compiling metrics for internal and customer reporting.
- Provide initial quality advice and information to customer service teams.
- Support the handling of quality-related queries from customers.
- Record non-conformances and fully investigate the extent of any quality issues.
- Conduct a Root Cause Analysis and assign area responsibility for implementation of Corrective Action for Customer and technical issues.
- Liaise with production departments to provide solutions and drive closure of Customer Replacement NCRs and ultimately reduce recurring issues and close out times.
- Perform stock checks to support quality control based on feedback from customer complaints.
- Track and verify special attention replacement orders to ensure customer meets customer specification.
- Track and review returned items sent for quality inspection.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality analysis and manufacturing understanding.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Report Writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools or visual inspection systems.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean methodologies.
