Due to company expansion our client is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing / Stock Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing business and further their career.
The Role
- Raise purchase orders with suppliers for products required
- Ensuring deliveries and accurate and correct quantities are delivered
- Source various products and approve quotes for orders
- Lead the goods in process ensuring parts, materials and components are stored in correct location
- Processing GRN’s and note any delivery shortages
- Maintain company stock levels ensuring accurate stock counts
- Oversee the movement of stock and change of stock locations in the business
- Negotiate with suppliers driving costs down and improving delivery times
- Other relevant ad hoc duties

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Highest level of integrity
