Payroll Assistant
We are currently working with a repeat client of in the local area in helping them recruit for a Payroll Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will join a successful and growing business and join a busy payroll department with an employer who offer a wide variety of employee benefits including a competitive salary, flexible and hybrid working hours and an early finish on a Friday.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process client payroll information accurately
- Producing payroll reports for clients and liaise with management regarding any issues
- Maintaining payroll processing system
- Investigate and resolve any time sheet discrepancies
- Deal with queries and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Keep up to date with payroll legislation changes and any other information that may effect payroll processing
- Ensuring smooth and efficient administration of pensions
- Other relevant duties
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Payroll or accounts qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude towards work
- The ability to work to deadlines
