McElroy Resourcing is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation as we hire an Electrical Contracts Manager for our client based in their Belfast office. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-profile electrical projects across the public, industrial and commercial sectors throughout the UK & Ireland. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and oversee NI projects from inception to completion, managing budgets, programmes and compliance while leading site teams and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a key hire for a business experiencing continued growth.

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule, budget while delivering a great quality product to our customers.
- Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation.
- Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards.
- Providing reports for meetings with managers.
- Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, applications for payment and variation control.
Requirements
- 2+ years as an Electrical Contracts Manager.
- Ideally you will have Ireland experience.
- Preference to candidates with Electrical based qualifications, NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Strong background managing electrical projects for an M&E or electrical contractor.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.
- Excellent written communication.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts.
