Our client, a leading multi-site global engineering company in Cookstown, due to continued success, is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. They offer a range of benefits and, with the successful acquisition of new projects, they are hiring both Design and Senior Design Engineers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designing an innovative range of products from concept to completion
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the company’s production processes and machinery
- Creating BOM lists
- Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products
- Research and keep up to date with new materials, parts, and methods of deployment
- Organise and maintain engineering records
- Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required
Essential Criteria:
- Engineering/design qualification
- Minimum 2 years engineering experience
- In-depth knowledge of Solidworks/Revit
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and problem solve effectively
