Our client, a leading engineering company with sites locally and globally, now requires a Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding team based in Dungannon.
The Role: Your new role will be heavily involved in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies to improve business performance. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of 8D and root cause problem-solving processes. As a Manufacturing Engineer, it will be vital that production methods are cost-effective and waste is reduced. The role will support ongoing production and provide issue resolution for equipment and machinery. You will read and interpret drawings whilst liaising with engineers, production, maintenance, and logistics.
The Person: To be successful in this role, you will have a mechanical engineering degree or similar qualification with 1 or more years of experience in a busy manufacturing environment. You will enjoy continuous improvement processes and finding the best solution to complex problems. Knowledge of the welding process is highly advantageous.
