Our client is a leading manufacturing company that has been going from strength to strength over the past few years and has invested heavily in their staff and facilities. They are now seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join their team. This is an exciting role with a leading employer where the successful candidate will be working on top of the range brand new machines.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 7am - 3:30pm

What you will be doing in your job:
- Perform electrical maintenance for production operations, ensuring prompt resolution of breakdowns and other issues to minimise downtime.
- Utilise systems to log, record, and close all active maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Execute project work from installation to commissioning, ensuring changes are implemented as planned and adjusted when necessary.
- Provide technical expertise to the engineering department, operational teams, and external contractors to identify and implement optimal solutions.
- Participate in team meetings to enhance departmental performance, support continuous improvement, and promote sustainability initiatives.
- Safely dismantle machinery, perform checks, and assist in resolving breakdowns.
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations to ensure compliance with legislation and internal protocols.
The successful candidate must have:
- A recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or experience typically gained as a maintenance engineer.
- Experience of fault diagnosis.
- Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Experience working as a maintenance engineer in a production/manufacturing environment.
