Our client, known as an employer of choice, is recruiting a HR Coordinator to join their well-established firm.

Job Duties:

  • Support the recruitment process e.g. posting ads, screening candidates and reference checks.
  • Issue employment contracts, offer letters and correspondence to staff.
  • Manage the new employee induction process and support during the initial employment period.
  • Management of employee probation periods.
  • Management of employee welfare programs and driving employee engagement.
  • Advise management team on HR related queries.
  • Support management when dealing with long- and short-term absence.
  • Deal with day-to-day HR queries from employees & management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop employee communication through different mediums e.g. company newsletter.
  • Review and develop HR policies, procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Represent the HR aspect of the business on various cross-functional teams.
  • Develop, manage and report on HR KPIs.
  • Performance of other related duties as assigned.

Essential Criteria for the role:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar HR role.
  • Have attained CIPD qualification or other HR qualification.
  • Good employment law / HR knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace to complete tasks effectively.
