Our client, a locally leading engineering company, is in search of an Engineer Projects Manager to join their well-established team in Dungannon. They are market leaders in their field of engineering and have a reputation as a great employer in the local area. There is a great benefits package on offer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development and control of project plans between applications, engineering and operations.
  • Regular review and reporting to the management team on the project status.
  • Attendance & participation at production meetings.
  • Meeting with Shipping, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Operations to ensure projects are running smoothly.
  • Primary Customer contact for all aspects of the project.
  • Creation of project risk analysis.
  • Chairing of regular (weekly) project meetings ensuring that all disciplines attend; are enabled to take an active role and there are effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Participation in the quality improvement process to tackle problems systematically and eliminate them through continuous improvement.
  • Support the production engineering function in terms of problem solving and continuous improvement projects.

To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will have:

  • Degree educated or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a projects role within an engineering production environment.
  • Experience in developing continuous improvements.
  • Experience in monitoring and interpreting ERP Systems for part and materials availability, and specific job requirements, ensuring all works are completed to schedule and quality parameters.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
