The predicted salary is between 18.5 - 18.5 £ per hour.

Our client, an upcoming name in renewable energy who have doubled their business in the last 2 years, are now recruiting for an experienced electrician who is career driven and has aspirations of becoming a member of the leadership team to join their team.

The role will involve installing:

  • Solar PV
  • EV charging
  • Battery energy storage
  • Generators
  • Renewable heating
  • LED lighting upgrades

Additional responsibilities include liaising with suppliers to organise materials, organising and booking in jobs, commissioning and electrically testing systems, creating test record sheets and handover documents.

A typical week could start with installing multiple solar, battery and EV charging systems across domestic and commercial sites 3 or 4 days in the week, leaving a day to get organised for the following week. Towards the end of the week, on a Friday, you could be in the office (or working from home) creating test certificates and handover documents, organising and ordering materials for the following week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee installations, sign off and test new installations
  • Liaise with suppliers for materials, designing systems per specific job
  • Install and oversee installations (dealing with subcontractors and internal team)
  • Instruct and teach electrical apprentices
  • Create and sign off electrical test certificates
  • Oversee and manage electrical accreditations

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experienced electrician NVQ Level 3 installing electrotechnical systems or equivalent
  • Testing and inspection (2391)
  • 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Project management
  • CSR card
  • Full drivers license
  • Computer literate
