My industry leading client are looking to strengthen their team with a senior appointment of an Electrical Design Manager to complement the core operations team with electrical and control knowledge, ensuring all systems and components of the plant are installed, tested, operated and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer and delivered in a safe and orderly manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design of electrical control systems
- To produce accurate BOMs for electrical purchase components and responsible for the interpretation of clients requirements in the design phase of projects
- Preparation of detailed electrical design and general arrangement drawings for the manufacture of motor control & power distribution panels with all relevant specifications, standards and safety regulations
- Keeping up to date with changes to applicable legislation to suit the global market
- Specify site specific cables and components of all plant items
- Project preparation of documentation for the testing, inspection and commissioning of the electrical systems
- Focus on reducing cost and cycle time on current plant equipment and projects
What you will need to be successful:
- Educated to degree in Electrical Engineering or 10 years relevant experience
- Senior experience of Electrical design
- Experience in BOM Creation
- Understanding of Electrical office requirements
- Competent on Eplan
- Computer literate in Windows based Software Products and proficient with AutoCAD and E-plan
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
