Our client, a successful and growing business, who manufacture bespoke products are in search of an experienced Purchaser to join their well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a hugely successful business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchasing materials and products required for the business
  • Negotiating with suppliers agreeing prices and lead times
  • Liaise with different departments regarding purchasing requirements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
  • Review upcoming projects and estimate future purchasing requirements
  • Checking and verifying all the required specifications of products
  • Actively work on driving costs down and securing favourable terms for the business

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years (+) experience working within purchasing
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Confident can-do attitude towards work
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • A willingness to learn and succeed
