Our client is a rapidly growing company where you will work closely with the Head of Engineering to produce detailed engineering drawings and bills of materials for current and new products.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the engineering team with design updates of new and existing products
  • Generating bills of materials for products
  • Relaying fabrication information to production teams and operatives
  • Nesting of cut steel parts for in-house processing
  • Accurate recording of steel stock
  • Responsibility for kanban system for cut steel parts

To be successful for this role you will:

  • Graduate of a relevant engineering qualification or working towards the equivalent will also be considered
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not critical
  • Experience in CAD system desirable (SolidWorks etc.)
  • Nesting software experience is beneficial but not critical
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
