Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently looking to recruit for a Paint Shop Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to play a pivotal role within the company’s production team in a senior management position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the company paint shop team to ensure production targets are hit
- Monitor production schedule and resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Delegate workload to paint shop team
- Ensure all paint work is completed to the highest possible quality
- Monitor team performance and complete employee appraisals
- Attend weekly production meetings and report any paint shortages or paint requirements
- Build strong working relationships with the team to boost morale and output levels
- Liaise with other departments and update them with any issues that may cause delays
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 3 (+) years experience working in engineering within paint shop
- Excellent knowledge of paint shop and paint equipment
- Excellent time management skills
- A positive can-do attitude
- Good people management skills
