Electrician (Renewable Energy) Our client an up coming name in renewable energy who have doubled their business in the last 2 years are now recruiting for an experienced electrician who is career driven and has career aspirations of becoming a member of the leadership team to join their team. The role will involve installing- Solar PV, EV charging, Battery energy storage, generators, renewable heating, LED lighting upgrades liaising with suppliers to organise materials, organising and booking in jobs, commissioning and electrically testing systems, creating test record sheets and handover documents. What a typical day looks like A typical week could start with installing multiple solar, battery and EV charging systems across domestic and commercial sites 3 or 4 days in the week leaving a day to get organised for the following week. Towards the end of the week on a Friday you could be in the office (or working from home) creating test certificates and handover documents, organising and ordering materials for the following week. Key Responsibilities To manage and oversee installations, sign off and test new installations, liaise with suppliers for materials, designing systems per specific job.
