Our client, a leading employer of choice based in Craigavon, is in search of an Electrical Design Engineer to join their well-established team. Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing electrical drawings as well as general arrangement layout drawings
- Preparing electrical bills of materials
- Interacting with customers, mechanical engineers, etc. to resolve identified issues
- Producing accurate BOMs for electrical components meeting strict deadlines
- Preparation of documentation for testing, inspecting, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Providing support to project teams for the design of parts that require electrical integration
- Assisting the team in debugging and solving any problems that may arise by debugging software and hardware
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant electrical engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in an electrical design role
- Experience with 2D and/or 3D software
- Knowledge of Autocad electrical
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
