Our client, a leading Electrical Engineering company based in Dungannon, who have continued to invest in their people and facilities, are now recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. They are also open to reviewing engineers who are slightly below Senior level but wanting to progress. This is a great role with a fantastic variety of projects. Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3-phase electrical control systems
- Produce electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Preparing electrical drawings as well as general arrangement layout drawings
- Support new product development and continuous improvement projects
- Interacting with customers, mechanical engineers etc. to resolve identified issues
- Produce accurate BOMs for electrical components meeting strict deadlines
- Preparation of documentation for testing, inspecting, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Provide support to project teams for the design of parts that require electrical integration
- Assisting the team in debugging and solving any problems that may arise by debugging software and hardware
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant electrical engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in an electrical design role
- Experience with 2D and/or 3D software
- Knowledge of Autocad electrical, eplan or similar software
- Knowledge of PLCs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
