Design Engineer

We are delighted to be working alongside a leading Engineer company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an exciting role to get involved in new products as well as carry out designs on our clients extensive list of current products.

The role:

  • In this role you will work within multi-disciplined Engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for customers across the globe.
  • Ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality & adherence to regulations and suitability for manufacturing.
  • As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the 3D Design & Integration of our client's products and 3rd party supplied equipment ensuring all governance to meet requirements is adhered to.

To be successful in this role:

  • The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree/relevant apprenticeship or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience working in an engineering design environment.
  • You will have design experience using 3D CAD software to produce 3D part and assembly models and drawings.
  • Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia etc.
