We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer for a leading company with head offices in Mallusk. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to help manage key customer accounts and deal with technical queries. This role is 50% based in the office/from home and 50% on the road travelling to customer sites mainly across Craigavon and Co Down.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the tender bid process including understanding, reviewing and reporting out commercial and technical requirements to key stakeholders. This will involve close collaboration and communication with sales, product management and engineering teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our clients target market.
- Manage key customer accounts across NI/ROI.
- Support the implementation and execution of marketing and sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Attend customer meetings, exhibitions, trade shows which will require a willingness to travel across NI.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and training to customers to ensure successful product implementation and satisfaction.
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally you will have a degree in Engineering or relevant subject.
- Maintain a deep understanding of products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales.
- Strong understanding of system engineering and asset monitoring.
- Full driving license.
