Our client, a leading employer within engineering and manufacturing, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Head of Finance supporting company growth.
The role includes:
- Prepare and produce monthly management accounts for the group
- Prepare monthly financial information for senior management reporting
- Influence financial decisions at key points in the month end timeline
- Review current accounting processes and implement improvements
- Train and mentor junior members of the finance team and help them develop their knowledge and skills
- Monitor cashflow and optimise working capital
- Monthly and weekly reporting duties
- Any other ad hoc duties within the finance team
Essential Criteria:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification
- Excellent computer skills
- Good people management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills
