Our client, a leading multi-site global engineering company in Cookstown, due to continued success, is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. They offer a range of benefits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designing an innovative range of products from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the company’s production processes and machinery.
- Creating BOM lists.
- Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products.
- Research and keep up to date with new materials, parts, and methods of deployment.
- Organise and maintain engineering records.
- Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards.
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Engineering/design qualification.
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Solidworks/Revit.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and problem solve effectively.
