We are delighted to be working alongside a leading Engineer company to recruit a Technical Engineer. Our client has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and is now looking to add to their design team due to company growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing all necessary documents, such as specifications, technical plans and reports related to precision parts.
  • Discussing and resolving complex problems with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and customers.
  • Conducting Design Reviews to establish the root cause of issues and agree a solution for in-service issues.
  • Liaising with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Configuration, Design, Technical and Customer Support on a daily basis.
  • Creating Engineering Change Requests and Service Bulletins to implement design changes on current in-service programs.
  • Creating Service Information Letters to provide advisory information or maintenance clarification for current in-service programs.
  • Communicating with the customer to help resolve specific issues.

Essential Criteria for the role:

  • A high level of technical and scientific knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.
  • Understanding of configuration control.
  • Degree or relevant experience in an Engineering discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly convey technical content in the written form, particularly in the form of maintenance instructions.
  • Demonstrated success in solving problems under pressure while working to tight deadlines.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD software.
