My client is a recognised industry leader in their field of engineering who, due to continued success, are now seeking to add a Design or Senior Design Engineer to their team. Based in the Craigavon area, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer to join their growing team. The job role:

  • Designing new and developing improvements to the company’s existing product portfolio using 3D modelling software.
  • Providing solutions for the development of new products.
  • Produce full manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Reduce manufacturing costs through improved design and standardisation of parts throughout the range of machines working with the production and purchasing departments.
  • Investigate and address any customer complaints and provide solutions to any issues they are having.

The successful candidate:

  • At least 3 years experience working as a Design Engineer
  • Degree educated in mechanical engineering
  • Competent on SolidWorks, Creo or similar package
