Our client, a leading employer of choice based in Armagh, is in search of an Electrical Design Engineer to join their well-established team. This is a great role with a fantastic variety of projects. Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing electrical drawings as well as general arrangement layout drawings
  • Preparing electrical bills of materials
  • Interacting with customers, mechanical engineers etc. to resolve identified issues
  • Producing accurate BOMs for electrical components meeting strict deadlines
  • Preparation of documentation for testing, inspecting, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Providing support to project teams for the design of parts that require electrical integration
  • Assisting the team in debugging and solving any problems that may arise by debugging software and hardware

The successful candidate must have:

  • Relevant electrical engineering degree with a minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in an electrical design role
  • Experience with 2D and/or 3D software
  • Knowledge of Autocad electrical
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
