Design Engineer The Role: The successful candidate will support our fast paced, dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities Supportthe full project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, design, delivery, testing,documentationand handover. Develop engineering designs using SolidWorks, applying design for manufacture and design for assembly principles. Work closely with the wider team in relation to new product development including design, quality management, marketing and production, Work closely with Engineering team to design and document new conversions, develop new processes, update production build manuals, and carry out fault finding exercises, Liaise with R&D team in the creation/modification of parts, technical drawings, and Bill of Materials, Implementation of new technologies, manufacturing processes and materials, Sourcing and liaising with suppliers of purchased components, Follow engineering change control procedure where applicable, Record and analyse Time and Motion studies to drive improvements in production times, Create and manage multiple design projects within set timeframe, Be responsible for the correct use of personal protective equipment as per the company policy.
