About The Role

We are seeking an organised, commercially aware and proactive Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of maintaining a lean and effective parts and materials flow from our suppliers through to our production channels to guarantee supply chain robustness, allowing us to deliver our products in a timely manner to maintain our high-quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing purchase orders for production materials and general consumables, from order placement through to delivery, goods-in, quality checks and data accuracy.
  • Using ACT, Unleashed and ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate supplier, customer, stock and purchase order records.
  • Forecasting demand, maintaining lean order scheduling and supporting effective stock control.
  • Managing the flow of parts and materials through Stores and Fabrication departments.
  • Take a hand-on leadership approach, engaging with front line processes and providing regular updates and daily reviews.
  • Sourcing, developing and managing supplier relationships, including SLA reviews, pricing negotiations and commercially beneficial terms.
  • Working with Engineering, Research and Development, Production and other departments to support supply chain requirements across the business.
  • Supporting process improvements, documentation, audits, training and the rollout of supply chain processes across all business areas.
  • Promoting high standards of professionalism, communication, health, safety and wellbeing within your team.

What We're Looking For:

The successful candidate will be a confident supply chain professional with strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. You will be detail-focused, commercially minded and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supply chain environment or similar operational role.
  • Experience leading and developing teams and driving high performance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers, internal departments and management.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for stock management, forecasting, purchase order maintenance and accurate recording.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable Criteria:

  • A professional supply chain qualification such as CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, equivalent qualification or currently working towards one.
  • Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

What We Offer:

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. Permanent, full-time role based on-site in Armagh, Co Armagh. 44 hours per week: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5.30pm, and Friday, 7.30am - 1.30pm. Immediate start available. Benenden Health available after successful completion of the 6-month probation period.
