About The Role
We are seeking an organised, commercially aware and proactive Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of maintaining a lean and effective parts and materials flow from our suppliers through to our production channels to guarantee supply chain robustness, allowing us to deliver our products in a timely manner to maintain our high-quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Managing purchase orders for production materials and general consumables, from order placement through to delivery, goods-in, quality checks and data accuracy.
- Forecasting demand, maintaining lean order scheduling and supporting effective stock control.
- Working with Engineering, Research and Development, Production and other departments to support supply chain requirements across the business.
- Supporting process improvements, documentation, audits, training and the rollout of supply chain processes across all business areas.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be a confident supply chain professional with strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supply chain environment or similar operational role.
- Experience leading and developing teams and driving high performance.
- Experience in supplier relationship management and commercial negotiations.
Desirable Criteria:
- A professional supply chain qualification such as CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, equivalent qualification or currently working towards one.
Permanent, full-time role based on-site in Armagh, Co Armagh. Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5.30pm, and Friday, 7.30am - 1.30pm. Immediate start available. Benenden Health available after successful completion of the 6-month probation period.
