We are seeking a Mobile Technician (England). You will be responsible for completion of service, annual checks and warranty work on wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) including ramps, wheelchair restraints, winches, electric reels and side steps. This is a field-based position and will require you to stay away from home 3 nights per week.

  • Attend planned WAV checks and respond to service calls across GB.
  • Carry out service in a timely manner, to the highest standard as per training and product supplier guidelines.
  • Have full product working knowledge of all possible vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility Services.
  • Work in tandem with service and aftersales administrators to carry out all necessary administration to a clear and concise standard.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to vehicle adaptations.
  • Keep service vehicle stocked to ensure all eventualities can be overcome in the first instance.

Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role is required along with a full driving licence. You should offer excellent customer service, possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Take pride in quality workmanship.
