As a Total Reward Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering a compelling reward offering across McDonald’s UK & Ireland. Sitting within the People team, you’ll help ensure our pay, benefits, recognition and wellbeing programmes remain competitive, inclusive and aligned to our Employee Value Proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and evolving employee benefits, wellbeing and recognition programmes to remain attractive and market-competitive
- Designing and implementing new reward initiatives that support engagement and retention
- Leading key recognition streams across the business and supporting broader recognition activity
- Managing the employee discounts and engagement platform
- Supporting the ongoing management and annual review of restaurant bonus schemes
- Providing support in governance and management of pension and associated benefits
- Producing insight and reporting on reward activity, including benefits take‑up and trends
- Partnering with HR, leaders and stakeholders on reward-related projects and the annual reward cycle
- Providing specialist reward advice to employees, managers and HR Business Partners
Qualifications
- Proven experience within Reward, Benefits or Total Reward
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear messages
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
- Strong capability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- The ability to work cross‑functionally and build trusted partnerships
