Position Overview
You will provide legal and administrative support to the UK&I Legal team, supporting both the Governance sub‑team and the Real Estate sub‑team. Your accountabilities will include the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to global corporate governance reporting requests.
- Maintain and monitor company registers.
- Support board meeting preparation.
- Company secretarial filings and regulatory support.
- Support changes to legal entities, such as change of registered address, change of directors, updating of powers of attorney.
- Production of real estate transactional documents and reports, including formatting, numbering, cross‑referencing, copying plans and other attachments, printing and binding.
- Carrying out Land Registry and other searches.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders in Global Legal and UK Development teams.
- Arrange for transfers of completion funds.
- Assist with property transaction procedures, including completion and exchange.
- Carry out general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing, and support the team with general tasks as required.
- Electronic filing of transaction files and documents.
Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced user of Word and competent with other Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficient at formatting, editing, comparing and cross‑referencing contracts in Word, and formatting and proofreading documents and correcting common mistakes confidently and without supervision.
- High levels of efficiency with good attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and diary management skills.
- Pride in ensuring tasks are carried out correctly and efficiently.
- Team player with a helpful, collaborative approach and a "can‑do" attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with web filing at Companies House and awareness of the UK Companies Act highly desirable.
- An interest in real estate, and desire to take ownership of workload and apply independent thought to progress tasks.
