As a Total Reward Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering a compelling reward offering across McDonald’s UK & Ireland. Sitting within our People team, you’ll help ensure our pay, benefits, recognition and wellbeing programmes remain competitive, inclusive and aligned to our Employee Value Proposition.
You’ll partner closely with colleagues across Corporate and Operations, as well as external providers, to deliver reward solutions that make a real difference to our people’s experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and evolving our employee benefits, wellbeing and recognition programmes to ensure they remain attractive and market-competitive
- Designing and implementing new reward initiatives that support engagement and retention
- Leading key recognition streams across the business and supporting broader recognition activity
- Managing the employee discounts and engagement platform
- Supporting the ongoing management and annual review of restaurant bonus schemes
- Providing support in the governance and management of pension and associated benefits
- Producing insight and reporting on reward activity, including benefits take-up and trends
- Partnering with HR, leaders and stakeholders on reward-related projects and the annual reward cycle
- Providing specialist reward advice to employees, managers and HR Business Partners
We’re looking for someone who combines strong reward expertise with a collaborative, people-focused mindset.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience within Reward, Benefits or Total Reward
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear messages
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
- Strong capability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- The ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted partnerships
