McDonald’s is evolving fast and we’re looking for a Franchising Consultant to help drive engagement, strengthen our franchise network, and support strategic franchising activity that underpins our long‑term success.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across three core areas of Franchising - Franchisee Engagement, Franchising Transactions, and Franchisee Learning & Development. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, influence key decisions, and support the delivery of our Franchising Plan, making a meaningful impact on the success of both the business and our Franchisees.
What you’ll be doing:
- Franchisee Engagement
- Supporting the Franchisee Engagement Director to strengthen communication and partnership with the franchisee community
- Working closely with the National Leadership Group (NLG) of Franchisees to maintain effective two‑way communication
- Leading the organisation of key franchisee events, including NLG meetings, Franchisee Roadshows and supporting our Annual General Meeting & Worldwide Convention logistics
- Managing the Franchisee Representation framework on Teams & Committees, including membership, onboarding and ways of working
- Embedding franchisee‑first communication across channels such as our Franchisee Newsletter, live calls and system updates
- Overseeing the annual Franchisee Opinion Survey
- Franchising Transactions
- Supporting the delivery of the UK&I Franchising Strategy through analysis, reporting and insight sharing
- Co‑managing franchising transactions and contributing to the New Term process
- Supporting updates to franchising policies and standards
- Providing support for Joint Venture Board meetings when required
- Franchisee Learning & Development (L&D)
- Leading the Franchisee L&D pathway, ensuring delivery of key programmes and touchpoints
- Delivering franchising induction for new leaders and training for JV Board members
- Having an input into our Corporate Development Programme for Franchisee Consultants and providing franchising expertise across the team
- Additional Responsibilities
- Creating and overseeing a new Franchisee Alumni programme
- Supporting the Head of Franchising with leadership and strategic presentations
