The Management Degree Apprenticeship lasts five years and gives you the opportunity to follow a structured training programme. It leads to valuable qualifications including a Level 3 Apprenticeship (Hospitality Supervisor) and then the opportunity to gain a BA (hons) degree in Business Management and Retail from University and Chartered manager status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

You will find yourself doing a huge variety of things, including working in the kitchen, front counter and drive-thru, but as you progress, you will also learn to take management decisions, get involved in rotas and recruitment, and keep an eye on budgets. From Year 2 of the programme you'll get the opportunity to spend three to four day residential blocks on campus at University completing theoretical modules of the programme as well as following the McDonald’s management curriculum. You will gain loads of practical experience and progress through different management roles. You will help make real business decisions and could even go on to manage your own restaurant.

Location: The programme has national coverage - at restaurants across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Wales.

Position Requirements: The position is full time and includes shift work. To apply you’ll need to have 104–112 UCAS points (A level grades BCC – BBC) or equivalent alternative qualifications. GCSE grade C or 4 in English and maths. Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths are also accepted.

Position Attributes: We’re looking for people that are comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting involved. Quick learners that have providing a great customer experience and delivering high standards at the top of their minds. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working efficiently is also essential. Finally, we are looking for those that have an aptitude towards problem solving, decision making and motivating, leading and inspiring people.
