The People Manager role is a key leadership role within our restaurants and critical to delivering a fantastic experience for employees and our customers. From the minute you join us, our values will guide how you lead our people and shape the experiences you provide for our team and customers.
The Role
Due to an exciting expansion plan in 2026 we are looking to bring in new talent to our group. This role is an HR position working as part of a senior leadership team for a Business Manager (Restaurant Manager). You will play a key part in driving people focused, customer focused and commercially focused KPI’s. From there, your journey could take you to a more senior role then potentially develop further within HR and our People Team.
As part of your induction, you’ll learn how our values shape our business from the ground up. The hands‑on experience you will gain from working alongside our teams in our kitchens, service areas, customer areas and our drive‑thru will give you the confidence to make your impact across each of our day parts. As well as invaluable training from one of our existing HR Managers.
We want our customers and our people to feel valued and always appreciated. You will help us achieve this as you gain momentum and take responsibility for shifts and our key systems and processes. Your passion for doing the right thing for our people and our customers will have you fired up by the idea of running your own successful business!
People Manager job role includes:
- Support the restaurant’s business plan and bring this to life within the People agenda
- Lead on the delivery of the People Strategy and support bringing to life in the restaurant
- Co‑ordinate and plan training
- Create an effective schedule focused on exceptional customer experience, team development and business growth
- Support the managers to deliver a proactive and fair process for all team absences, disciplinary and performance concern
- Work with managers to build an annual recruitment plan as well as completing recruitment for the restaurant
- Ensure we create a fantastic experience for all applicants and new starters
- Co‑ordinate all performance appraisals to ensure they are timely and value adding and much more!

What Team will I be a part of?
You will be a key member of the restaurant leadership team and part of the regional People team working together with our crew, crew trainers and managers of all levels as a business leader.
What background do I need to have?
- This opportunity is open to people with HR experience leading teams, both in and out of the sector.
- Level 3 CIPD Qualification is desirable, with opportunity for further personal development within the role
- You are someone who inspires and motivates others with your ambition and hands on approach. Someone who will use their experience, energy and determination to succeed together as a team!
