Maintenance/Delivery Person - Early Mornings - Emersons Green

Location: Emersons Green McDonald’s

Hours: Full-time, flexible (may include early mornings and weekends)

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on team member to join our restaurant as a Store Maintenance & Deliveries Operative. This is a key behind‑the‑scenes role, keeping everything running smoothly so our team can focus on serving our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking in and putting away deliveries, making sure stock is rotated and organised.
• Carrying out routine equipment care – changing vat oil, cleaning filters, and weekly cleans on drinks machines.
• Keeping the store looking great inside and out, including regular cleaning, jet washing, and grounds care (mowing grass, weed control, etc.).
• Supporting managers with general maintenance tasks and reporting issues.
• Helping to keep the restaurant safe, clean, and audit-ready at all times.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone dependable, organised, and happy to work on their own initiative.
• Good attention to detail and a real pride in keeping standards high.
• Physically fit – able to lift and move stock safely.
• Practical, hands‑on attitude – basic maintenance skills are a bonus, but full training is provided.
• Availability: This role requires a minimum of 33 hours per week. Shifts start early, often from 5 a.m. More hours are available, but this minimum is non‑negotiable.
