The Food Quality Manager role is a key leadership role within our restaurants and critical for delivering a fantastic experience for employees and our customers. The Role

Due to an exciting expansion plan in 2025 we are looking to bring in new talent to our group. This role is a leadership position working as part of a senior leadership team for a Business Manager (Restaurant Manager). You will play a key part in driving people focused, customer focused and commercially focused KPI’s. From there, your journey could take you to a more senior salaried role then potentially on to Business Manager where you would run your own restaurant or develop further within Operations.

As part of your induction, you’ll learn how our values shape our business from the ground up. The hands-on experience you will gain from working in our kitchens, service areas and customer areas will give you the confidence to make your impact across each of our day parts. As well as invaluable training from one of our existing food quality managers.

We want our customers and our people to feel valued and always appreciated. You will help us achieve this as you gain momentum and take responsibility for shifts and our key systems and processes. Food Quality Manager job role includes

  • Support the business plan and bring to life within the Food Quality Team to promote an exceptional customer experience, future growth and an elevated employee experience. Helping us work towards our POA vision.
  • Manage the performance of all areas within the restaurant which are part of the food quality department including excellent food quality production, the highest standards of hygiene and safety, ordering and stock management
  • Weekly/monthly diagnostics and report analysis utilising a diagnostic mindset to improve restaurant operations.
  • Create a positive, dynamic and inclusive working environment
  • Complete Food Quality Team training, performance appraisals and monitor PDP progress.
  • Reward and recognise behaviours led by our POA culture, achieving restaurant goals and personal development.
  • Manage succession, plan continual development and selection of Food Quality Team. Liaise with People manager to ensure there is an effective recruitment programme in place covering all Food Quality Team needs.
  • Drive employee engagement within the restaurant through outstanding people led behaviours and exceptional communication.
  • Take a self-led approach to PDP goals and complete agreed training and development.

  • Display leadership by coaching the team and providing them with feedback, training and development
  • Lead the team to have a shared understanding and vision of an exceptional customer experience
  • Work with the wider management team to implement strategies to improve the business on growth and profitability
  • Analyse trends inside and outside of the restaurants that can impact on the business

What Team will I be a part of?

You will be a key member of the restaurant leadership team and part of the Food Quality team working together with our crew, crew trainers and managers of all levels as a business leader.

What background do I need to have?

  • This opportunity is open to people who are passionate about customers and delivering a great food quality experience every time. People with leadership experience and a proven track record of delivering results, working towards a business strategy and leading teams, this experience can come from both in and out of the sector. Kitchen/Hospitality experience for this role is preferable but not essential.
  • You are someone who inspires and motivates others with your ambition and hands on approach. Someone who will use their experience, energy and determination to succeed together as a team!
