Role Overview
Join us and you'll become part of a team. Complete tasks and activities in line with training, company guidelines and management direction. You will be working with a team to transfer stock into the store, following all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures. Delivery work requires staff to work from 20:00 to varying times depending on delivery arrival times on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights. Due to the working times where you will be required to work after midnight, the position is only available to those legally of age to work into the overnight. There are also opportunities to work within other areas of the store with this position as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete tasks and activities in line with training, company guidelines and management direction.
- Transfer stock into the store while following all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures.
- Deliver goods on schedule, working from 20:00 onwards on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights, and where required after midnight.
- Maintain quality and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behaviour is essential.
- Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must.
- The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working efficiently and productively is essential.
- Must be of legal age to work overnight shift hours.
